It’s well known by now that most fruits and veggies grown in large farms are sprayed with chemicals unless you buy organic.
This is NOT some kind of urban legend.
According to the USDA, conventional blueberries can contain the residues of 52 different pesticides…
One of them is called “Iprodione”. It’s a known carcinogen and hormone disruptor.
But of course, it’s in such a small quantity that it’s VERY safe. (Yes, I’m being sarcastic.)
This is one of the reasons I recommend you buy blueberries and other berries either organic, wild-grown or from a local farm that doesn’t use pesticides and herbicides.
